I, on the other hand, have never been drawn to Mario games. I admit that I did spend a lot of time on Super Mario Land 2 for the Game Boy. It's not like I had many games, either.

That is okay. Perfectly understandable. It might be boring if everyone liked the same things. Super Mario Land is a good series, though, and it gets even better when Wario takes it over and it becomes the Wario Land games. Even the one on Virtual Boy wasn't too bad.

I used to own the gba cartridge, but it just died one day. even had it in a plastic container for added protection. I had replayed MLSS so much that I spent 45 hours completing a playthrough wearing only the default gear. Near the end, dealing damage was a very slow and obnoxious process, but I had to do it... for Fawful. Wait, why isn't he in Mario Kart? I still have Bowser's Inside Story, at least, but it's not quite as good.

Beating the game with default gear sounds like a tall order. Well done. And yes-yes, Fawful is great. Lots of the Mario spinoff games have such wonderful characters that never appear in anything else. Whatever happened to Mr. L from Super Paper Mario? That guy was cool. He looks kinda like that sickly fella who hangs around Mario sometimes.

This game is so amazing and charming! Got this game and a GBA SP for my 7th birthday back in the day. Still have my copy!

Charming is just the right word. Really makes me smile. Also, that sounds like an top-tier birthday to me.
