As you may know, my diet is super simple: I eat mostly healthy stuff and don't have too many calories. That's it. I don't believe in cutting things out completely. Moderation is the key. I've set an arbitrary limit of 1200 calories per day, but I usually get around 700-900. It's not exactly sustainable in the long run. When I hit my target weight, it will probably become necessary to make myself eat more.
I'm losing weight a bit faster than expected. I'm in the upper 190s right now. It was somewhat tough at first to adjust to the smaller portions, but after a few weeks, my appetite has completely changed. My late-night cravings used to be so intense, but now things seem to have evened out. My appetite is stable throughout the day. In the beginning, I found that sipping water as I ate was a good way to feel more satisfied. I love jazzing up my water with a spoonful of cinnamon or a squeeze of lemon. Mint might also be a good idea. Oh yes :)
I'm kind of going through a rough patch in life, but it has nothing to do with the diet. I'm very sad for people in my life right now. I hate seeing folks I care about being mistreated. People can be so cruel. Though it's been stressful lately, I haven't let it lead me to overeat. At the very least, I find that encouraging. I know I can achieve my goal. Anyway, thanks for listening.
